This lake is so wonderful. The Horn Creek Hiking Trail offers hiking at its best, and dry warm beds await you at Deluxe Inn. At Holmes Pond throughout the warmest time of the year highs are in the 90's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 60's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 50's while Holmes Pond night       low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 30's. Camping is available at Aiken RV Park, and if you need a spot to stay Guesthouse Intl Aiken is a splendid choice. All the water falling down from the sky makes Holmes Pond a wet place; most of the rain falls during March; the driest month of the year is November. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a splendid time here at Holmes Pond. A fine place for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Holmes                  Pond is Savannah River.
