And that's not all you can do here at Holman Pond. Here at Holman Pond there are plenty of folks from Orangeburg, and if you need a place to stay Orangeburg - Days Inn South is a tremendous choice. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Days Inn, and obviously Lyons Creek flows through this vicinity. All through the long summer days at Holman Pond highs are mostly in the 90's. Once the sun is down it sinks       down to the 60's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 50's; after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Holman Pond drop into the 30's. Camping at Holman Pond is tremendous fun, Mountaineer Motel is a tremendous local campground, and Congaree Swamp National Monument is a very splendid location to stop at. All the water falling down from the sky makes Holman Pond a wet place; July is when you get the most rain here; November                  is the month with the least moisture.
