This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Hampton Inn Greenwood SC is a good choice, and camping at All Seasons Family Campground is always a great experience. So much exciting stuff to do at Hollingworths Pond, so little time. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's       for you then we recommend Warrior Creek. After a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Greenwood is a tremendous place to spend a night or two; if you're stopping by from Greenwood, you won't be the only one. There are some wonderful whitewater spots on South Tyger River, and Dennon Jones Lower Pond is a nearby lake that you could pop by. Throughout the months of summer, highs frequently are in the 90's at Hollingworths Pond while overnight lows are usually in                  the 60's. Highs during the wintertime are typically in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Hollingworths Pond are in the 20's.
