All through the long summer days here at Hightower Pond, high temperatures usually get into the 90's, and the overnight is slightly chillier of course, generally in the 60's. Highs throughout the winter are regularly in the 50's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Hightower Pond temperatures drop to the 30's.       What a spot this is for outdoors people. There are other spots here than Hightower Pond, for example Buckmire Pond. There's so much to do here at Hightower Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Rivers Bridge state Historic Site is a magnificent spot for that. This lake is so wonderful. If you're a golfer then a great close by course is Crestwood Golf Club, and getting to Ghents Branch from Hightower Pond is simple. Hightower Pond is a rather wet                  place mostly with a lot of rainfall; all through July this area sees the most rain; November on the other hand is the driest. Lakes?
