And if that's not enough, there's heaps more to do close to Hicks Pond. If you need a place to stay Jameson Inn Seneca is a great choice. Lakes are perfect; Cox Pond is a lake that's in close proximity to Hicks Pond. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Cedar Creek offers some delightful whitewater; Hicks Pond is a good spot to visit for more than one day, Yellow Branch       Campground is a good spot to camp nearby. If the weather is wonderful here at Hicks Pond, you can go for a hike along the Winding Stairs Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Chauga River. Hicks Pond is not far at all from Seneca, and Cassidy Bridge Campground is a fine campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. You're perhaps keen on lakes, Miller Pond is one of those close by; since you're here you can take a hike along the Burrells Ford Trail.                  Some nearby water includes Ramsey Creek, and if you want to go to some interesting stuff, go to Horseshoe Bend. Seneca-Days Inn Clemson is a good place to get some rest; you can have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Chattooga Trail. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Hicks Pond. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 50's with temperatures at Hicks Pond dipping down into the 20's during winter nights.
