    Many people like to go to Hattooga Lake. Hattooga Lake is a wet place that gets much precipitation; the wettest month of the year is regularly March, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is April. Scaly Mountain has brilliant slopes and a friendly staff, and get your pulse rate up on the good whitewater of Chattooga River. Holden Branch is one of the streams nearby that might be worth taking a look at, and the Burrells Ford Trail  
   offers hiking at its best.
This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. If you came to camp Burrells Ford Campground is a tremendous place to do that, needless to say you could also check out Chattooga Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. There's so much to do here at Hattooga Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Camp Chatuga is a good place for that, and do take a hike on the Three Forks Trail. For the period of the
 
               warm days of summer, highs typically are in the 70's at Hattooga Lake while night lows are commonly in the 50's. Highs throughout the wintertime are usually in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Hattooga Lake descend into the 20's.
This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay The Inn at Half Mile Farm is a splendid choice; Sky Valley is a very popular ski area nearby. If you like the outdoors, you'll adore Hattooga Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Hattooga Lake is right by the Winding Stairs Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Old Edwards Inn and Spa.
The summit of Alf Hill can be observed from Hattooga Lake; this is a popular spot for people from Seneca. Near Hattooga Lake you locate brilliant places like Callas Gap, and if you've had enough of Hattooga Lake, Mountain Rest Lake is nearby.
