South Carolina has many beautiful lakes and Harris Pond is one of them. Not far from Harris Pond, you'll hit upon Lake Jocassee which is a lovely lake, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Clemson is a wonderful place to spend a night or two. If you came for an overnight stay Keowee-Toxaway state Natural Area is a good site to camp, and if you come at the right time of year, Eastatoe Creek - Lower Gorge offers some delightful whitewater. location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Devils Fork State Park is a perfect campground nearby, and soar down the rapids of Little Eastatoe River in a kayak.
This lake is so wonderful. People from Brevard love to
come to Harris Pond, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Winding Stairs Trail. That right there is a heap already, but it goes on; Harris Pond has it all. Going for a hike along the Foothills Trail will let
you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and while you're here, you could stop by Barn Branch. Lakes are good; Lake Jocasse is a lake that's right next door to Harris Pond; Buzzard Roost Mountain is clearly visible from Harris Pond.
