You'll need more than a day to look at everything Harris Pond has to offer, you can camp
at Keowee-Toxaway state Natural Area; a good site for whitewater paddling is Eastatoe Creek - Lower Gorge. Summertime at Harris Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. Throughout
the winter highs are in the 40's with temperatures at Harris Pond dipping down into the 20's all through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Winding Stairs Trail is always a glorious adventure.
