High temperatures at Hancocks Pond all through the warmest time of the year are in the 80's, and the nighttime is a bit colder of course, generally in the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's with temperatures at Hancocks Pond dipping down into the 20's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Lee state Natural Area is always a good experience, and why not go to close       by Bell Branch since you're here at Hancocks Pond. Americas Best Value Inn-Bishopville is a great site to get some rest; an afternoon playing golf at Bethune Country Club Golf Course is always a bliss. All the water falling down from the sky makes Hancocks Pond a wet place; the month with most of the rain is July; the driest month is April.
