Hammonds Lake is a tremendous site to camp, Big Bass Valley Campground is a tremendous site, and enjoy a round of golf at Brookstone Meadows Golf Club. Hammonds Lake is a wet place that gets a lot of rain; most of the rain falls through March; the driest month is April. Hammonds Lake is not the only place nearby, Campbells Lake       is a nearby lake, and there are plenty of people from Anderson here. Springwood RV Park is a magnificent campground here, and glide down the rapids of Saluda River in a kayak. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Anderson-I-85 Exit 27@Hwy 81,, and get soaked paddling on Double Branch. This lake is so wonderful.
