There's so much to do here at Gulledge Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Poinsett state Park is a brilliant place for that. After a long day outdoors Candlewood Suites SUMTER is a good site to spend a night or two, and do take a look at Dwight       Pond, it's a wonderful lake. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Gulledge Pond you will meet lots of folks from close by Sumter, and Gulledge Pond is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Elliott's Landing and Campground is a splendid local campground. Summer at Gulledge Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's while nighttime lows are frequently in the 60's.
