Through the warm months highs here at Griggs Pond reach the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's with temperatures at Griggs Pond dipping down into the 20's all through winter nights. A lake nearby is Campbell Lake, and after a long day outdoors Cheraw - Days Inn is a delightful spot to spend a night or two. Griggs Pond typically       gets a lot of rain; the month with most of the rain is July, and April is when it's the driest. Griggs Pond is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Hide-Out Campground and Riding Stables is a tremendous local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Griggs Pond is not the only place nearby, Goose Pond is a nearby lake, and why not a little side tour to Little Juniper Creek.
