Camping at Gregorys Lake is wonderful fun, Flynn's Inn Camping Village is a wonderful local campground; do check out Willow Wicks Lake, it's a lovely lake. The cheerful people of Augusta-Richmond County like to hang out nearby; Sleep Inn North Augusta is a brilliant spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. A great deal of precipitation       falls at Gregorys Lake; the wettest month of the year is generally March, that's the one that rains the most while November is commonly the driest month. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Savannah River, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Pole Branch. Whitewater paddling is fine on Stevens Creek; for you golfers we recommend nearby The River Golf Club. Going for a hike on                  the Turkey Creek Hiking Trail is always a glorious adventure, and close by you hit upon the Horn Creek Hiking Trail which is a great hiking trail.
