There's so much to do here at Greenslades Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Saluda River Resort is a nice site for that, and as expected Rocky Branch flows through this neighborhood. A magnificent site for whitewater paddling right next door to Greenslades Pond is Tyger River, and Greenslades Pond is not the only spot nearby, Caldwells Pond is a nearby lake. This lake       is so wonderful. The friendly people of Newberry like to hang out close by, and after a long day outdoors Newberry-Days Inn is a splendid place to spend a night or two. For the duration of the summer at Greenslades Pond highs are generally in the 90's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. For the period of the wintertime highs are mostly in the 50's; nighttime lows in the 20's for Greenslades Pond. If you came to camp Kinards Koa Kampground                  is a great place to do that, needless to say you could also have a look at Parrs Pond if you're here; it's not far at all. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. Dry warm beds await you at Quality Inn Newberry, and in case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Broad River.
