Green Hill Lake is always a pleasure to visit. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Saluda River, and you can stay the night at Sesquicentennial State Park. Summertime brings highs in the 90's to Green Hill Lake. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 70's. During the winter highs are in the 50's while Green Hill Lake overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 30's. Any time is a glorious time at Green

Green Hill Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain while October is
the month with the least amount of precipitation. Dry warm beds await you at Candlewood Suites COLUMBIA-FT. JACKSON, and hey, Savany Hunt Creek is a perfect local stream. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Green Hill Lake has to offer, you can camp at Barnyard RV Park, and Green Hill Lake is not far at all from Columbia.
