Graves Pond is a lake worth visiting. All the water falling down from the sky makes Graves Pond a wet location; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain; November on the other hand is the driest. Through the summer here at Graves Pond, high temperatures usually get into the 90's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's with temperatures at Graves Pond dipping down into the 20's all through winter

| | nights. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Broad River; if you've had enough of Graves Pond, Horse Pond is close by.
Congaree Swamp National Monument is a great place close to Graves Pond; you'll meet a lot of people from Columbia here. Dry warm beds await you at Quality Inn West Columbia. A good location to camp here at Graves Pond is Sesquicentennial State Park, and if you come at the right time of year, Saluda River offers some glorious
whitewater. You imagine that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Camping at Barnyard RV Park is always a magnificent experience; Graves Pond is not the only place close by, Quail Hollow Lake is a close by lake.
