If you need a site to stay Hampton Inn is a great choice, and North Saluda River has a fine whitewater paddling spot nearby. A great location to camp here at Glenns Lake is Holly Hill RV Park, and it's a brilliant idea to pop by Johnson Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Dogwood Travel Trailer Park; you'll probably meet some people from Greenville       here. A delightful close by hotel is Travelers Motel, and if you've had enough of Glenns Lake, Valley Lake is close by. Be careful coming to Glenns Lake, you might not ever wanna go home again. Glenns Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; March is the month that gets the most rain, and April is the month with the least moisture. Throughout the warmest time of the year at Glenns Lake highs are usually in the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down                  to the 60's.
