Lexington Mill Pond Dam is lovely and it's close to Gibsons Pond; a quick trip to Boggy Branch is beyond doubt a fine idea. At Gibsons Pond through the long summer days highs are in the 90's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 60's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 50's; nighttime lows at Gibsons Pond during the wintertime mostly sink into the 30's. There's whitewater       on Saluda River for all you adrenaline rush seekers; Edmund RV Park is a fine campground nearby. The good people of Columbia like to hang out close by, and you can run the rapids of Broad River. Gibsons Pond gets a large amount of water; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain, and November is when it's the driest. But wait, there's more to do right next door to Gibsons Pond.
