This lake is so wonderful. For you golfers we recommend nearby Indian River Golf Club, and Georges Pond is a nearby lake that you could explore. Stay the night at Barnyard RV Park, and get drenched paddling on Broad River. Summertime at Gibsons Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 90's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Highs through the winter are typically       in the 50's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Gibsons Pond sink into the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Gibsons Pond you'll almost certainly meet some folks from Columbia, and do take a look at Boggy Branch since you're here at Gibsons Pond. Lexington Mill Pond Dam is worth visiting while you're here, and a lake nearby is Lexington Mill Pond.
