This lake is so wonderful. Do schedule some time to pop by Snow Point next to Georgie Pond if you have a chance, and Charles Towne Landing state Historic Site is a great campground nearby. You could also take a look at Wilson Pond since you're here at Georgie Pond; it's nearby, and hey, Back River is a great local stream. Georgie Pond sees pretty high levels of rain; of all the months in a year July is the one with       the most rain while November is frequently the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. There are swamps here too; Yellow House Creek is nearby, and The Golf Club Wescott Plantation is a good golf course close by. Dry warm beds await you at Value Place Charleston Rivers, and if you came for an overnight stay Fain's RV Park is a tremendous spot to camp. For the period of the summer months highs here at Georgie Pond reach the 90's. Summer nighttime lows plunge                  down to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Georgie Pond are in the 30's. There are plenty of people from Charleston-North Charleston here at Georgie Pond, and if you've had enough of Georgie Pond, Logan Pond is nearby. Hiking along the Jerico Horse Trail is magnificent fun, and do pay a visit to Fort Moultrie National Monument if you're here at Georgie Pond. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have fun.
