Garvins Pond is a pretty wet place generally with a great deal of precipitation; March is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is November. This lake is so wonderful. Garvins Pond is a fine lake right next door to Garvins Pond, and a nice location to camp here at Garvins Pond is Cedar Pond Campground.       Garvins Pond is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Aiken state Natural Area is a perfect local campground, and dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Aiken - Interstate Hwy 20. High temperatures at Garvins Pond throughout the summertime months are in the 90's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's.
