There's whitewater on Pacolet for all you adrenaline people, and close to Gallmans Pond you locate a golf course called Oak Ridge Country Club. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Gallmans Pond has to offer, you                  can camp at Croft state Natural Area, and you're sure to run into some nice people from Union here. A lake close by is White Pines Lake; a good nearby hotel is Super 8 Gaffney. This lake is so wonderful.
