Broad River has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby, and camping is available at Rose Hill Plantation state Historic Site. You believe       that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Poplar Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by, and do go to Union Water Works Pond, it's a stunning lake. Through the days of summer highs here at Foster Park Lake get into the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 50's, and nighttime lows in the 30's for Foster Park Lake. If you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express GAFFNEY OUTLET MALL I-85 is                  a brilliant choice; if you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Lawsons Fork Creek. This lake is so wonderful.
