Forest Lake is a lake worth visiting. Not far from Forest Lake you obtain some good water scenery at Forest Lake Dam; Sesquicentennial State Park is a splendid local campground. A good deal of rainfall falls at Forest Lake; the wettest month of the year is usually March, that's the one that rains the most while November is the month with the least amount of precipitation. For the duration of the summer months at Forest Lake temperatures are frequently in the 90's,

| | and throughout the night it cools down to the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 50's, and overnight lows at Forest Lake during the wintertime typically plunge into the 20's. Lake, and lakes are such peaceful places, why not have a look at Old Heises Pond. If time allows, Congaree Swamp National Monument is a national park worth going to, and an afternoon playing golf at Northwoods Golf Club is always a delight.
