There's just no way someone can get bored here at Flatwood Lake. There are plenty of folks from Spartanburg here at Flatwood Lake, and why not camp at Croft state Natural Area if you're here at Flatwood Lake. Big Shoally Creek is a stream that you may encounter during your stay; an afternoon playing golf at Peach Valley Golf Course is always a bliss. Flatwood Lake is a quite wet place usually with lots of precipitation;       the wettest month of the year is regularly March, that's the one that rains the most while April is typically the driest month. High temperatures at Flatwood Lake during the warm days of summer are in the 80's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 50's, and nighttime lows during the wintertime for Flatwood Lake tend to be in the 20's. Fairview Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore; after                  a long day outdoors Comfort Inn & Suites is a great place to spend a night or two. A delightful place for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Flatwood Lake is Pacolet. This lake is so wonderful. A brilliant spot to camp here at Flatwood Lake is Cunningham RV Park, and Best Western Spartanburg Inn is a tremendous spot to get some rest.
