Throughout the days of summer, highs usually are in the 90's at Fish Pond. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 60's. Throughout the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 50's with temperatures at Fish Pond dipping down into the 30's during winter nights. Rivers Bridge state Historic Site is a magnificent campground nearby. Lakes? Sure,       Crooked Pond is nearby. So much exciting stuff to do here at Fish Pond, too nice to be true. A quick trip to Colt Branch close to Fish Pond is a fine idea, and you're sure to stumble upon some good people from Orangeburg here. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Fish Pond you can play some golf at Pawpaw Country Club, and SUPER 8 MOTEL - ORANGEBURG is a nice site to get some rest. Fish Pond gets a large amount of water; of all the months in                  a year August is the one with the most rain; the driest month is October.
