Palmetto Cove is a good campground here, and if you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Easley is a great choice. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend South Saluda River, and after a long day outdoors Easley-Days Inn West Of Greenville/Clemson Area is a great place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. At Finleys Lake you can catch a glimpse of Brown Mountain,       and there are some great whitewater spots on Carrick Creek. The high level of precipitation makes Finleys Lake a pretty wet spot; March is the month that gets the most rain while January is regularly the driest month. So much enjoyable stuff in the neighborhood of Finleys Lake, absolutely amazing. You'll meet a lot of people from Brevard here. Finleys Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to; if you came for an overnight stay Table Rock State Park is                  a delightful site to camp. At Finleys Lake all through the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's.
