A good close by hotel is Best Western Spartanburg Inn, and don't forget to take a fine little trip to Big Shoally Creek. Summertime highs at Fairview Lake generally tend to be in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 60's. During the wintertime the highs are usually in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Fairview Lake are in the 20's. A good site to camp here at Fairview Lake is       Croft state Natural Area; Comfort Inn & Suites is a good place to get some rest. Fairview Lake gets a large amount of water; through March this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is April. This lake is so wonderful. Fairview Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Cunningham RV Park is a good local campground, and there are other locations here than Fairview Lake, for example Flatwood Lake.
