A great close by hotel is Econo Lodge Spartanburg, and camping at F Bush Pond is great fun, Cunningham RV Park is a great local campground. If only every location had this much outdoors fun stuff, what a great globe it would be. There's whitewater on South Tyger River for all you adrenaline junkies. For the period of the summer at F Bush Pond temperatures are typically in the 80's. During the dark       hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at F Bush Pond fall into the 20's. F Bush Pond sees pretty high levels of rain; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain while April is regularly the driest month. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Middle Tyger River, and                  F Bush Pond is a wonderful location to camp, Creekside RV Park is a wonderful location. This lake is so wonderful. The wonderful folks of Spartanburg like to hang out close by, and playing golf is lots of fun at Village Golf Club.
