Why not stop by Eggleston Lake if you're passing through these parts. Eggleston Lake frequently gets a good deal of rainfall; most of the rain falls through March; November is when it's the driest. If you're visiting Eggleston Lake from Augusta-Richmond County, you won't be the only one; camping at Eggleston Lake is tremendous fun, Betty's RV and Trailer Court is a tremendous local campground. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Eggleston Lake.

This lake is so wonderful. Some close by water includes Red Hill Branch; Eggleston Lake is right by the Horn Creek Hiking Trail. For the period of the long summer days here at Eggleston Lake, high temperatures frequently get into the 90's. Summer night lows drop down to the 60's.
