For the period of the long summer days, highs mostly are in the 90's at Edisto Lake, and throughout the night it cools down to the 60's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 50's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at Edisto Lake temperatures drop to the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available       at Cedar Pond Campground; lakes are such calm spots, why not check out Amelia Lake. A scenic lake like Collums Millpond close to Edisto Lake is a nice spot to go to. The high level of precipitation makes Edisto Lake a quite wet site; July is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is November.
