A fine close by hotel is Spartanburg - Days Inn Waccamaw, and if you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on South Tyger River. Having a wonderful time at E W Martin Lake is simple. Windmill Hill is clearly visible from E W Martin Lake. You'll need more than a day to explore       everything E W Martin Lake has to offer, you can camp at Cunningham RV Park. A quick tour to Alexander Creek in the vicinity of E W Martin Lake is a wonderful idea, and E W Martin Lake is not far at all from Spartanburg. This lake is so wonderful.
