There's some flowing water close by, Brunson Branch is a stream you can stop at while here, and Econo Lodge Sumter is a nice place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Dubose Pond is a nearby lake that you could take a look at, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Sumter Inn. If you get bored of Dubose Pond, you could also go to nearby Swan Lake, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Sumter here. Dubose       Pond is a relatively wet place commonly with a good deal of rainfall; through the month of July you get the most rain around here while April is frequently the driest month. Camping is available at Poinsett state Park, and golf can be played at Royal Oaks Golf Club. Now, you may imagine that's heaps but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Dubose Pond.
