A great panorama of beautiful Half Moon Sand Hills is available from Cypress Lake; if you like swamps you're in luck, Boggy Bay is right nearby. A large amount of rainfall falls at Cypress Lake; through the month of July you get       the most rain around here; the driest month is April. Lakes? Sure, Bass Lake is close by; golf can be played at Green Acres Golf Club. Cypress Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Big Cypress Lake RV Park/fishing Retreat is a glorious local campground, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Marion. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Little Pee Dee State Park is a wonderful spot to do that; The Decanter Inn is a splendid place to                  get some rest. During the long summer days, highs frequently are in the 90's at Cypress Lake, and the nighttime is a little colder of course, typically in the 60's.
