Cudds Pond is always a pleasure to visit. All through the summertime highs here at Cudds Pond get into the 90's while night lows are commonly in the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 50's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Cudds Pond temperatures descend to the 30's. Lakes are tremendous; Adams Lake is a lake that's close to Cudds Pond, and camping at Broad River Campground is always a nice experience. You're most likely
hooked on lakes, Lake John D Long is one of those close by, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express GAFFNEY OUTLET MALL I-85 is a pleasant place to spend a night or two.
The high level of rain makes Cudds Pond a quite wet site; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain; the driest of the months is November. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Tyger River,

and folks from Union love to come here. Camping is available at Leeds Campground, and why not a little side tour to Big Browns Creek.
This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. There are some nice whitewater spots on Broad River.

Pinecone Campground
When we stayed at Pinecone Campground we had a very great time. Even though we read some not-so-good reviews, we had lots of fun. The childern enjoyed the pool and the golf carts and even the teenagers that were there had fun. It is a good family invironment and a good place to go and relax. We havee stayed there since and we will continue to go back. We camped in tents....
