The high level of precipitation makes Crystal Lake a rather wet site; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month is November. There are some perfect whitewater spots on Broad River, and Crystal Lake is a wonderful spot to visit for more than one day, Barnyard RV Park is a wonderful spot to camp nearby. And that's       not all you can do here at Crystal Lake. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Saluda River, and while you're here, you could also go to pretty Arrants Pond. Ramada Limited Lexington is a brilliant spot to get some rest, and a round of golf at nearby Indian River Golf Club is a great way to kill some time. This lake is so wonderful. Edmund RV Park is a glorious local campground, and dry warm beds await you at Value Place Lexington. The vistas at Congaree Swamp                  National Monument will blow your mind. During the summer at Crystal Lake highs are frequently in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 60's.
