This lake is so wonderful. Crescent Lake typically gets a good deal of rainfall; March is the wettest month with most rain, and November is the month with the least moisture. Stay the night at Capital City Campground, and since you're here and you like golf, you can have a look at Northwoods Golf Club. Nearby       lakes? Sure, Hidden Acres Pond is close to Crescent Lake; there's some flowing water close by, Cumbess Creek is a stream you can have a look at during your stay. Having a tremendous time at Crescent Lake is trouble-free. While you're here at Crescent Lake you will meet lots of people from close by Columbia; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Saluda River. At Crescent Lake throughout the warm months highs are in the                  90's, and all through the night it cools down to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's while Crescent Lake overnight low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Courtyard Columbia Northeast/I-77 is a fine location to spend a night or two, and there are some splendid whitewater spots on Broad River. A trip to Congaree Swamp National Monument is worthwhile.
