There's so much to do here at Creech Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Charlotte/Fort Mill KOA is a tremendous site for that, and why not a little side visit to Blankmanship Branch.       Summertime highs at Creech Pond typically tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 60's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 50's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Creech Pond. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Creech Pond is not far at all from Charlotte-Gastonia-Concord, and Catawba River - South Fork is a magnificent whitewater spot close by. Creech Pond is a wet site that gets a good deal of                  rain; March is the wettest month with most rain; April on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Lazy Daze Campground; a great nearby hotel is Comfort Inn At Carowinds.
