High temperatures at Creech Pond during the warm days of summer are in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 60's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's while Creech Pond nighttime       low temperatures through the winter are in the 20's. This is no location for people who don’t like to have fun. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Sleep Inn At Carowinds, and a round of golf at nearby Crystal Creek Golf Club is a great way to kill some time. Camping at Creech Pond is great fun, Lazy Daze Campground is a great local campground; get covered with water paddling on Catawba River - South Fork. All the water falling down from                  the sky makes Creech Pond a wet spot; March is when you get the most rain here while April is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
