Congaree Swamp National Monument is a fine local destination here at Craft Pond, and if you get bored of Craft Pond you could also visit nearby Crystal Springs Lake. Craft Pond is a quite wet place typically with a good deal of rain; all through August this area sees the most rain, and November is the month with the least moisture. You can run the rapids of Broad River near Craft Pond. There's       so much to do here at Craft Pond that you need to camp here for a while, River Bottom Farms is a great place for that. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff at Craft Pond. After a long day outdoors Ramada Limited Lexington is a splendid place to spend a night or two, and you'll possibly meet some people from Columbia here. This lake is so wonderful.
