A scenic lake like Broadmouth Creek Watershed Nine Lake in the neighborhood of Cox Ponds is a good place to visit, and there are some wonderful whitewater spots on Saluda River. A great close by hotel is Holiday Inn Express Anderson-I-85 Exit 27@Hwy 81,, and near Cox Ponds you discover a golf course called Sugarfoot Golf Course. If you want a perfect time in the great outdoors, just come on down to       Cox Ponds. Knights Inn Anderson/Clemson is a brilliant spot to get some rest, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try East Prong Broadmouth Creek. Through the summertime months here at Cox Ponds, high temperatures mostly get into the 80's; the overnight is fairly chillier of course, generally in the 60's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 50's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Cox Ponds sink                  into the 30's. The good folks of Anderson like to hang out close by, and Anderson/ Lake Hartwell KOA is a fine campground nearby. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Rocky River. This lake is so wonderful. Do visit Broadmouth Creek Watershed Eight Lake near Cox Ponds, it's a stunning lake, and Ivy Acres RV Park is a glorious local campground.
