Camping at Cassidy Bridge Campground is always a magnificent experience, and you can go for a hike on the Burrells Ford Trail. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Cox Pond. You'll meet a lot of people from Seneca here, and Chauga River is a great whitewater spot close by. Scaly Mountain is a pleasant local ski area. A magnificent place to camp here at       Cox Pond is Yellow Branch Campground, and going for a hike on the Chattooga Trail is always a brilliant adventure. This lake is so wonderful. A great nearby hotel is Toccoa Days Inn, and don't leave Cox Pond without first going for a hike along the Bartram Trail. Cox Pond is a wet spot that gets a large amount of rain; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily March, that's the one that rains the most, and October is when it's the driest. This lake is                  so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to close by Smith Pond, and in case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cedar Creek. High temperatures at Cox Pond through the days of summer are in the 80's while overnight lows are usually in the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 50's, and nighttime lows all through the wintertime for Cox Pond tend to be in the 20's.
