Throughout the summer months, highs typically are in the 80's at Cox Pond. During the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 60's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 50's with temperatures at Cox Pond dipping down into the 20's during winter nights. Cox Pond is a spot with many visitors from Seneca, and Horseshoe Bend is an attention-grabbing site to take a look at while at Cox       Pond. There are fine spots to discover along the Bartram Trail. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Cox Pond has to offer, you can camp at Yellow Branch Campground. Muddy Creek is a stream that you may encounter while here, and Cox Pond is a delightful spot to visit for more than one day, Cassidy Bridge Campground is a delightful spot to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Burrells Ford Trail is always a good adventure;                  paddling on Cedar Creek is so much fun. All the water falling down from the sky makes Cox Pond a wet site; March is when you get the most rain here while October is frequently the driest month. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the area in close proximity to Cox Pond has to offer. Near Cox Pond you stumble on the Chattooga Trail which is a good hiking trail, and if you need a spot to stay Knights Inn Toccoa is a tremendous choice. This lake is so wonderful. Chauga River has a splendid whitewater paddling spot nearby. Lakes are fine; Adams Pond is a lake that's close to Cox Pond.
