A visit to Coopers Pond is always a good idea. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is tremendous on Saluda River, and Sesquicentennial State Park is a great campground nearby. A good nearby hotel is La Quinta Inn Columbia NE/Fort Jackson, and playing golf is lots of fun at Northwoods Golf Club. of folks from Columbia here. There's some attention-grabbing stuff to observe at Arcadia Woods Lake Dam in the vicinity of Coopers Pond; Capital City Campground is a brilliant local campground.
