Go to Coopers Pond if you want to go to a nice lake. Broad River has a perfect whitewater paddling spot close by; Eightmile Branch is next to Coopers Pond and is always a joy to visit. Paddling on Saluda River is so much fun, and if you haven’t been to Congaree Swamp National Monument, you should schedule some time for it if you're here. This lake is so wonderful.

| | that gets the most rain; November is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Coopers Pond is a wonderful place to camp, Capital City Campground is a wonderful place, and Northwoods Golf Club is a magnificent golf course nearby. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Columbia/Ft. Jackson Area is a pleasant place to spend a night or two; the friendly folks of Columbia like to hang out nearby.

into the 90's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's typically in the 60's. During the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 50's, and overnight lows at Coopers Pond during the wintertime mostly plunge into the 20's. This
spot is excellent, just check out all the entertaining things to do in the neighborhood of Coopers Pond. You could also go to Boyden Arbor Lake since you're here at Coopers Pond; it's close by, also Coopers Pond Dam is worth checking
out if you're here. Dry warm beds await you at Days Inn. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Coopers Pond has to offer, you can camp at Sesquicentennial State Park.
