Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff right next door to Cooks Pond. Cooks Pond is a quite wet place usually with much rainfall; January is the month that gets the most rain, and November meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. There are other places here than Cooks Pond, for       example Dicks Pond; close to Cooks Pond you find a golf course called Cedar Creek-The Golf Club. For the period of the days of summer at Cooks Pond highs are ordinarily in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's while Cooks Pond overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 30's. Super 8 Aiken is a good place to get some rest; if you came to camp Crossroads                  Mobile Home Park is a good place to do that. While you're here at Cooks Pond you will meet lots of folks from close by Augusta-Richmond County.
