A good deal of rainfall falls at Collums Pond; of all the months in a year March       is the one with the most rain; the driest month is November. Stay the night at Camp Kinard, and after a long day outdoors Days Inn Aiken - Interstate Hwy 20 is a glorious site to spend a night or two. Throughout the warm days of summer, highs ordinarily are in the 90's at Collums Pond, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 50's while Collums Pond night low temperatures throughout the wintertime                  are in the 20's.
