    Many people like to go to Collins Lake. All through the summertime months at Collins Lake highs are mostly in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 50's with temperatures at Collins Lake dipping down into the 20's during winter nights. Head up to Scaly Mountain and strap some skis to your feet. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Chauga River for all you adrenaline people, and hiking along the Burrells  
   Ford Trail is perfect fun.
You can run the rapids of Cedar Creek right next door to Collins Lake, and Wells Mountain is a peak you can spot from Collins Lake. If you need a spot to stay Seneca-Days Inn Clemson is a nice choice; a quick tour to Findley Branch is undeniably a glorious idea. Have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Winding Stairs Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Jameson Inn Seneca.
This lake is so wonderful. This is a great region
 
               for folks who like lakes. Adams Pond is a lake around here; Cassidy Bridge Campground is a great campground nearby. If you adore the outdoors, you'll like Collins Lake. There are plenty of folks from Seneca here at Collins Lake, and Yellow Branch Campground is a tremendous local campground. Collins Lake gets much water; March is the wettest month with most rain while October is usually the driest month.
Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at nearby Coneross Creek Reservoir, and Collins Lake is right by the Chattooga Trail.
