Many people like to go to Collins Lake. All through the summertime months at Collins Lake highs are mostly in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 50's with temperatures at Collins Lake dipping down into the 20's during winter nights. Head up to Scaly Mountain and strap some skis to your feet. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always have a look at nearby Coneross Creek Reservoir, and Collins Lake is right by the Chattooga Trail.
