Why not stop by Cokers Pond if you're passing through these parts. Cokers Pond gets a large amount of water; August is the month that gets the most rain; November is when it's the driest. There's so much to do here at Cokers Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Royal Lake RV Park is a good location for that, and after a long day outdoors SUPER 8 MOTEL - WALTERBORO is a good site to spend a night or two. | | Pond temperatures are typically in the 90's. Through the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's. Through the wintertime the highs are generally in the 50's; during the dark hours in the winter at Cokers Pond temperatures sink to the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Colleton State Park is a tremendous place to do that; Cokers Pond is not far at all from Walterboro. If you like swamps, you're in luck, Big Bay is right nearby, and dry warm beds await you at Sleep Inn Walterboro.
