Clearwater Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Clearwater Lake is a magnificent site to camp, Flynn's Inn Camping Village is a magnificent site, and nearby you stumble on the Horn Creek Hiking Trail which is a great hiking trail. Through the summertime months, highs generally are in the 90's at Clearwater Lake, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. Lake is good fun, Betty's RV and Trailer Court is a good local campground. Clearwater Lake is a wet spot that gets lots of precipitation; all through March this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is November.
This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Sleep Inn North Augusta is a nice choice, and do stop by Garner Pond Number One, it's a pretty lake. A tremendous close by hotel is Augusta Budget Inn; there are plenty of folks from Augusta-Richmond County here at Clearwater Lake.
