There's just no way someone can get bored here at Clamps Pond. Fall Branch is a great local stream, and you're sure to come across some fine folks from Columbia here. For the duration of the long summer days, highs usually are in the 90's at Clamps Pond, and the overnight is a little colder of course, typically in the 60's. Highs all through the winter are typically in the 50's; overnight lows at Clamps Pond during the       wintertime typically sink into the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Quality Inn & Suites is a nice place to spend a night or two, and you can stay the night at Siesta Cove Marina-campground. Smith Pond is a nearby lake that you could check out; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Broad River. A lake nearby is Oswald Pond. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Clamps Pond has                  to offer, you can camp at Putnam's Landing. Clamps Pond sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is March, and November on the other hand is the driest.
