City Reservoir sees pretty high levels of rain; most of the rain falls during March; April is when it's the driest. Camping at City Reservoir is fine fun, Goodale State Park is a fine local campground; some of the water close by flows, like Lick Creek. This lake is so wonderful. If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to City Reservoir. Paddling on Catawba River is so much fun. Taylors Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop by, and Kershaw Golf Club is a great golf course nearby. If you need a site to stay Camden Knights Inn is a wonderful choice, and Nosoca Pines Ranch is a great campground here. Through the summertime months at City Reservoir highs are ordinarily in the 80's. Through the dark                  hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 60's.
