This site is great, just look at all the amusing stuff to do close to Chestnut Lake. Camping at Cunningham RV Park is always a great experience. High temperatures at Chestnut Lake throughout the summer months are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 50's; nighttime lows throughout the winter for Chestnut Lake tend to be in the 20's. Econo Lodge Spartanburg       is a fine location to get some rest, and since you're here and you like golf, you can check out Village Golf Club. After a long day outdoors Quality Inn Expo Center is a great site to spend a night or two, and get your heart pumping on the good whitewater of South Tyger River. Camping is available at Creekside RV Park, and there's whitewater on Middle Tyger River for all you thrill seekers. Chestnut Lake commonly gets much rain; all through March this area sees                  the most rain while April is typically the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.
