Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Chattooga River; if you get bored of Chattooga Lake you could also go to close by Gordons Lake. There's some flowing water close by, Holden Branch is a stream you can have a look at during your stay, and if you need a site to stay Kelsey & Hutcinson Ldg is a glorious choice. Camping at Yellow Branch Campground is always a pleasant experience, and       don't leave Chattooga Lake without first going for a hike along the Winding Stairs Trail. This lake is so wonderful. The cheerful folks of Seneca like to hang out close by, and Callas Gap is another perfect location to stop by nearby. Chattooga Lake beyond doubt is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise. Chattooga Lake is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Burrells Ford Campground is a delightful local campground, and on a delightful                  day you obtain a great panorama of Alf Hill from Chattooga Lake. There's wonderful hiking along the Three Forks Trail; Spa at Old Edwards Inn is a splendid location to get some rest. Everybody close by loves skiing at Sky Valley. This lake is so wonderful. There are brilliant places to explore along the Burrells Ford Trail, and Scaly Mountain is a great local ski area. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Chattooga Lake, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs all through the wintertime are usually in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 20's for Chattooga Lake.
