Chattooga Lake is a nice lake to visit. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a delightful time here at Chattooga Lake. Mountain Rest Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at, and a magnificent site close by is Callas Gap. Good hiking is available along the Three Forks Trail; if you came for an overnight stay Burrells Ford Campground is a delightful place to camp. There's some flowing water nearby, Holden Branch is a stream you can take a look at during your stay;

| | Chattooga River has a delightful whitewater paddling spot close by.
There are fine sites to discover along the Burrells Ford Trail; if you're visiting from Seneca, you won't be the only one. This lake is so wonderful. On a lovely day you get a panorama of Alf Hill from Chattooga Lake, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Sky Valley. For the duration of the summertime months at Chattooga Lake temperatures are usually in the 70's while nighttime lows are commonly in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's; winter nights come
with lows in the 20's to Chattooga Lake. Go for a hike on the Winding Stairs Trail, and why not camp at Camp Chatuga since you're here at Chattooga Lake. Chattooga Lake generally gets lots of precipitation; through March this area
sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is April.
Hit the slopes at Scaly Mountain close by, and after a long day outdoors Old Edwards Inn and Spa is a splendid location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful.
Dry warm beds await you at The Inn at Half Mile Farm, and while you're here, you could also stop at pretty Mountain Rest Lake.
